GroupVille Mobile 2.1 (for GV 2.1.2) released
GroupVille Mobile lets you access your personal information stored in GV on the go with your smartphone, PDA or mobile phone capable of displaying HTML. The screen layout and graphics are optimized for small screens and lower bandwidths.
In addition, the GV server supports sending text messages [SMS] to mobile phones worldwide.

GroupVille: New Reseller / Partner Programs
Thanks to the new deployment and hosting options, GV partners can focus on local support and complete packages including hardware or hosted options for their customers. The new GV partner programs (PDF) started on Dec 15, 2005 and offer an optional premium partner and certification option in 2006.

GroupVille 2.1.2: Tomcat deployment support
Upon popular customer request, we enhanced two key areas for the upcoming 2.1.2 release - deployment on Apache Tomcat and upload options for people on the go without access / permission to the GV file upload plugin.

GroupVille 2.1 and 2.2: New Data storage and exchange
The data import/export capabilities were further enhanced in GV 2.1. This allows users to better exchange data between public websites and password-protected GroupVille applications.
This GroupVille release offer basic support for a new Data storage (and Document management) module, the complete implementation will follow in release 2.2.

GroupVille2: Free 3-user license and discounts
After good feedback on the initial free version we now offer a free and non-expiring license for up to 3 users.
Release GV 2.1 is now available for download. It features the new plugin and sync options.

GroupVille2: Mobile Client Strategy
GroupVille2 already allows you to send SMS messages worldwide. But some users may want more: Access GroupVille data anywhere. We closely looked at various technologies, but they either weren't good enough (WAP) or not available everywhere (cHTML/i-mode). Now we are finally happy to announce our new mobile HTML client for smart phones and PDA devices. It is expected to ship in Q2 2004. Update: Release 8 includes the Mobile client, please go to the download page. |

GroupVille2: International version released
The new international version of GroupVille2 (R5) will support 8 languages and is now available for testing.

A new version of GroupVille for WebObjects 5 for Java is now completed. It features browser-based server administration, fast file uploads, integrated web mail and much more! The new version is a free upgrade for all GroupVille1 customers. Read the press release.

New name
To reflect our broader range of activities, products and services, Studio Sendai was renamed Sendai Systems, (effective January 1, 2001). All present e-mail addresses and URLs will remain active. Our new logo retains the familiar Sendai dice graphics.
